Website Use

You may use our website for lawful personal, educational, community, and informational purposes.

You agree not to use the website in a manner that could damage the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or information, violate another person's rights, or violate applicable law.

Events, Programs, and Competitions

PHCAC offers community events, competitions, showcases, educational opportunities, and other arts-related programs.

Individual events and programs may have additional rules, eligibility requirements, deadlines, judging criteria, submission requirements, fees, releases, or other terms.

By registering for or submitting an entry to a PHCAC program, you agree to comply with the rules published for that particular program.

PHCAC reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event dates, locations, schedules, programming, judges, awards, or other event details when circumstances require.

PHCAC also reserves the right to reject or remove entries that do not comply with published program requirements or that are inappropriate for the applicable event or program.

Artistic and Creative Submissions

Unless otherwise stated for a particular program, submitting artwork, photography, writing, or other creative material to PHCAC does not transfer ownership of the work to PHCAC. The creator retains ownership of the work.

By submitting work for a PHCAC program, the participant grants PHCAC permission to display, photograph, reproduce, and share images or excerpts of the submitted work for purposes related to the program and for PHCAC's nonprofit promotional, educational, archival, fundraising, and publicity activities.

This permission may include use on our website, social media, email newsletters, press releases, printed materials, grant reports, and future materials documenting or promoting PHCAC programs.

PHCAC will make reasonable efforts to credit artists or creators when appropriate.

Additional submission or licensing terms may apply to individual programs and will be disclosed with those programs when applicable.

Youth Participation

Children and teenagers are welcome in many PHCAC programs.

When a minor participates in a program requiring registration or submission of personal information, the information should be provided or authorized by a parent, legal guardian, teacher, or other adult authorized to act on behalf of the minor when required by the applicable program.

By submitting information or materials on behalf of a minor, the submitting adult represents that they have authority to provide that information and agree to the applicable program terms.

Additional parental or guardian permission may be required for particular activities.

Event Photography and Recording

PHCAC events may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded.

By attending a public PHCAC event, attendees understand that photography or recording may occur and that photographs or recordings may be used for legitimate PHCAC purposes, including publicity, promotion, social media, newsletters, press coverage, historical documentation, grant reporting, and other nonprofit communications.

Photography may be performed by PHCAC representatives, volunteers, professional photographers, members of the media, or other event attendees.

For programs involving minors or circumstances in which a specific release is appropriate, PHCAC may obtain additional permission from a parent or guardian.

If you have a concern regarding PHCAC's use of a particular photograph, please contact us at phcarts@gmail.com.

Donations

Donations made to PHCAC support our nonprofit mission and programs.

Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors should consult their own tax adviser regarding their individual circumstances.

If a payment includes goods, services, admission, merchandise, or another benefit provided in exchange for some or all of the payment, the tax-deductible portion may be limited. PHCAC will provide applicable information when required by law.

Unless otherwise stated or required by law, charitable donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us promptly.

Event Fees and Refunds

Registration fees, vendor fees, entry fees, tickets, and other event-related payments may be subject to refund or cancellation policies specific to the applicable event.

Unless a different policy is stated at the time of registration or purchase, fees are not guaranteed to be refundable after registration deadlines or after PHCAC has incurred expenses based on a participant's registration.

If PHCAC cancels an event for which a fee was charged, PHCAC will determine the appropriate refund, credit, rescheduling, or other remedy based on the circumstances.

Unless otherwise indicated, the PHCAC name, logo, website design, original website content, graphics, promotional materials, and other materials created by or for PHCAC are owned by or licensed to PHCAC and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission.
