The Paris-Henry County Arts Council is proud to present the 33rd Annual Dr. Danny and Martha Jo Kimberlin Photography Showcase! This beloved event continues to shine a spotlight on the artistic talent of photographers in our community, inviting both amateur and professional photographers to share their best work.

Location: W.G. Rhea Public Library, 400 W Washington St, Paris, TN 38242
Admission: Free to the public
Award Ceremony & Reception: May 4, 2:00 – 3:30 PM
Expected Attendance: 150+ photography enthusiasts
Photographers Showcased: 50+ talented artists
Honoring the Kimberlins
For over three decades, the showcase has been proudly sponsored by Dr. Danny and Mrs. Martha Jo Kimberlin, world travelers who have visited over 100 countries in pursuit of breathtaking images. Their dedication to photography and the arts community has made this event possible, and in recognition of their contributions, the Arts Council Board officially named the event in their honor.
How to Enter
📸 Sign Up Deadline: April 21, 2025
🎯 Submission Drop-Off: April 30 - May 2 at W.G. Rhea Library
Photographers may enter up to three (3) framed or gallery-wrapped photographs for free! All entries will be judged, with ribbons and cash awards given for Best of Show, First, Second, and Third Place, as well as the People’s Choice Award, sponsored by the Paris Photography Club.
Photography Categories
From action shots to breathtaking landscapes, there’s a category for every photographer:
🔹 Action – Sports, racing, or any subject in motion
🔹 Altered Images – Creatively manipulated photographs
🔹 Architectural – Buildings and structures
🔹 Black & White – Monochrome photography of any subject
🔹 Mobile – Photos taken on a phone or tablet
🔹 Natural World – Plants, landscapes, and weather phenomena
🔹 People – Portraits or candid shots of individuals or groups
🔹 Travel – Capturing people and cultures from different places
🔹 Wildlife – Photos of animals in their natural habitats (no pets)
🔹 Youth Categories: Ages 6-12 & Ages 13-17
