Celebrating the Winners of the 32nd Annual Dr. Danny & Martha Jo Kimberlin Photo Showcase!

The Paris-Henry County Arts Council is thrilled to announce the winners of the highly anticipated 32nd Annual Dr. Danny & Martha Jo Kimberlin Photo Showcase! This year, we received submissions from 49 talented photographers, who collectively shared over 140 photographs with us.

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting the Award Ceremony, where we welcomed over 75 enthusiastic attendees eager to celebrate the exceptional talent within our community. It was a joyous occasion filled with laughter, applause, and an abundance of artistic inspiration.

From breathtaking landscapes to intimate portraits, each entry offered a unique glimpse into the world through the lens of our local photographers. We're thrilled to announce the winners across various categories:

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our judge this year, Jeff Roush — a luminary in the realms of advertising, portraiture, and wedding photography. With 45 years of experience and a passion for nurturing emerging talents, Jeff brings a discerning eye and invaluable expertise to the selection process.

Jeff said, “The 2024 Photo Showcase this year was fabulous. Judging this photography competition is always a joy as the images are all incredible. I’ve judged this show a number of times over the years and every time the entries seem to get better and better.”

We invite everyone to visit the W.G. Rhea Public Library, where the winning photos will be on display from today until May 22nd, 2024. It's the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the artistry of our local photographers and experience the magic of visual storytelling.
