Art Workshop Contract

In partnership with the PAris Henry County Arts Council

Welcome! Thank you so much for considering to host an art workshop in partnership with the Paris Henry County Arts Council. We’re so excited to showcase your skills to our community.

By filling out this contract, you are agreeing to host your workshop at the agreed upon date, time, and location that was presented to you by our director, Chloe Roth. If you were not given this information, please get in contact before filling out this contract.

LOCATION

The Paris Henry County Arts Council will provide the space to host your workshop at our home office which is located at: 203 N Fentress St, Paris, TN 38242. You may use any of our tables, chairs, and bathrooms for your workshop participants. We have space for on average, 20-40 participants. If you need more space or a different type of setup, we have connections to other spaces in the area on a case by case basis. Please inquire if so.

SIGN UPS

The Paris Henry County Arts Council Workshop Committee will be managing the signups for your workshop on our website page: www.phcarts.com/workshops by taking participants first and last name, email, phone, and payments through our booking app, Squarespace Scheduling. We will manage the list of participants as well as any fees associated with the workshop. Once your class is live on the website, you will receive a link to a Google Spreadsheet where you will be able to see signups appear in real time.

MARKETING

The Paris Henry County Arts Council will be marketing your workshop through our email campaigns (400+ subscribers), our facebook page (800+ followers), as well as publications in local newspapers like the Paris Intelligencer. If there are any additional places or avenues that you would like to advertise, you may do so on your own accord. Please always reach out for assistance.

WORKSHOP FEES

You must provide the cost of of your workshop per participant as well as the maximum amount of participants you are able to host. By hosting your workshop in partnership with the Paris Henry County Arts Council, we will add an additional 20% fee to the displayed cost for participants. This 20% fee will be kept as a donation to the Paris Henry County Arts Council. After the event has taken place, you will receive a check for your participant fee only.

FOOD & DRINK

Food and drink will not be provided for workshop participants by the Paris Henry County Arts Council. Should you desire to provide any on your own, you must obtain permission prior to the workshop by the director, Chloe Roth. If there are any spills or damages to the interior of the Paris Henry County Arts Council Building or any other location, you will be held liable.

FAILURE TO PERFORM SERVICES

In the event that you cannot host the workshop, you will: immediately give notice to Paris Henry County Arts Council Director, Chloe Roth so that we, the Paris Henry County Arts Council, may update participants. You will be given the opportunity to host your workshop at another date within one year of the originally scheduled event. The Paris Henry County Arts Council maintains the right to manage finances of the rescheduled event in partnership with you, the artist, on a case by case basis.

LIABILITY

You must carry your own personal or business liability insurance, showing proof to Paris Henry County Arts Council after the contract is submitted. You will be responsible under your insurance coverage for any and all injuries, damages, or claims against you while you are hosting your workshop in partnership with the Paris Henry Arts Council.

Fill Out a W-9

If you anticipate to make in upwards of $600 per calendar year from hosting your workshops with the Paris Henry County Arts Council, we need you to fill out a W-9 Form so that we may submit your information for tax purposes.
