A Taste of the Season: The 2025 Farm to Table Experience
Bold Flavors, Beautiful Tables, and the Spirit of Community
The Paris-Henry County Arts Council’s 2025 Farm to Table Dinner was a feast for the senses — a celebration of flavor, creativity, and connection. Held at the stunning Sandy Creek Farms in Springville, TN, the event took place indoors, in the comfort of air conditioning, on a warm summer night. It brought together everything we love about living, gathering, and dining in West Tennessee.
A Meal to Remember
The menu was a love letter to our region, with seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and transformed into unforgettable dishes.
Guests began with rustic bruschetta and marinated mozzarella, followed by a grilled romaine Caesar salad layered with shaved parmesan, crispy pork belly bacon, homemade croutons, and house-made dressing.
For the main course, smoked beef tenderloin took center stage, paired with stewed heirloom tomatoes, fried cabbage, and grilled corn cut fresh off the cob. Warm rolls with honey butter added the perfect Southern comfort.
Dessert was a true showstopper — a rich pound cake topped with blackberry and peach crème fraîche, offering a sweet and summery finale.
These flavors wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of the local farmers who supplied the evening’s ingredients:
Boyd’s Bees – Paris, TN
Earth’s Bounty – Puryear, TN
Future Vision Farms – Whitlock, TN
Jones Orchard – Millington, TN
Martin Stockyards – Martin, TN
Sincerity Farms – Paris, TN
Their commitment to quality and community helps us tell the story of West Tennessee with every bite.
Music, Art, and Atmosphere
Farm to Table is about more than food — it’s about celebrating the creative spirit that makes our region special.
Live music by the FCC Players — Bo Caldwell, Ray Compton, Randal & Heather Currie, Jarrod Fitzsimmons, and Kasey Muench — brought soul and joy to the evening. Their harmonies created a warm, welcoming soundtrack from start to finish.
Each table was a work of art. Elegant tablescapes from Hester & Cook of Nashville set the tone, while handcrafted floral arrangements by our event committee added texture and charm. Hand-thrown ceramic vessels by Hannah Kyle of HK Studios brought an earthy, timeless beauty to every setting.
A big thank you to Junior Staggs of the Red Ball Auction Team, who brought his signature energy to the live auction. Among the highlights were two original paintings by artist Erik Stonebraker — The Forgotten Lady and A Bridge of Memories — generously donated to support our fundraising efforts.
